About Payette River Community CU

A Brief History...

The Credit Union was first chartered in 1936 under the name of Boise Payette Incorporated Employees Federal Credit Union. In 1961 the Boise Payette Lumber Company was purchased by Boise Cascade Corporation and the name of the Credit Union was changed to Boise Cascade Employees Federal Credit Union.

October 1998 we changed to a State Chartered Credit Union.

In 2000 we applied and received approval to become a Community Credit Union serving the residents of Gem, Boise, Payette, and Valley counties. March 2001 we changed our name to Payette River Community Credit Union to reflect our new field of membership.
